The TSCBA Working Group is conducting a study using a mentoring tool to help T Trainees and K Scholars in the CTSA consortium develop translational science skills. The tool focuses on observable behaviors (milestones) rather than rating scales and includes 44 competencies across ten domains: Domain Expert, Rigorous Researcher, Ethical Researcher, Team Player, Skilled Communicator, Resilient Scientist, Boundary Crosser, Research Leader, Process Innovator, and Systems Thinker.
