A team of researchers from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers Cancer Institute has been awarded a five-year, $4.83 million grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to support efforts in coordinating care for cancer survivors who are managing cardiovascular risks.
The team includes Shawna Hudson, a professor and senior associate dean for population health research at the medical school and vice chancellor for dissemination and implementation science at Rutgers Health. Dr. Hudson is also Associate Director of NJ ACTS, with special responsibility for Element C, Community Engagement, and Workforce Development.
