Mentoring Biomedical Graduate Students and Dealing with Distressed Students

Faculty will learn about resources for mentoring biomedical PhD students and approaches for dealing with distressed students. Introductions by Janet Alder, PhD, Assistant Dean of Academic and Student Affairs at the School of Graduate Studies.
The workshop will include:
- A brief overview of School of Graduate Studies resources
- An interactive session run by CAPS Counselors, Dana Weinstock and Jessica Trusiani, on how to assist students in distress.
- A collaborative discussion about things to consider for potential student needs when in distress.
