Poor Dr. Fauci. The man misses a day to have surgery to remove a polyp from his vocal cords – a result, in part, of all the talking he’s been doing to try to steer us through the pandemic – and the next thing he knows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance on COVID-19 testing is relaxed. On Aug. 24, the CDC announced that those who have been “in close contact (within 6 feet) of a person with a COVID-19 infection for at least 15 minutes but do not have symptoms … do not necessarily need a test … .” To read the full story.
